Today Gracie was supposed to start the next round of chemo. Her labs came back and her platelets were only at 44. They needed to be at 75 or close to it in order to start. Her Hemoglobin was at 7.8 so they decided to give her a unit of blood. This was a nice short day. She is rescheduled to start next week Monday June 3rd with the 3 day admission. Good news is her NG tube has been going great. She is up 12 pounds since they started the tube feeds. Her appetite has been much better as well.
