Today Gracie just had a clinic visit with her main Oncologist. They drew labs as usual. Her Hemoglobin was at 9.7, platelets at 53 so no need for any transfusions. They did decide to hold off chemo until the 13th. They want to giver her body and bone marrow a little more time to heal. She doesn't have to go back down until next Friday. Then they will run labs to check and make sure she is all set for chemo on that next Monday. She has been eating much better. Hoping that will also help her get some more energy back. They were a little concerned about her weight loss. She has lost 40 pounds since she started chemo in January. She definitely needs to increase her calorie intake.
