Dad is doing so much better! He is no longer on any oxygen at all. He took his first steps last week with physical therapy and has been taking more each day. He is getting back to his old self and can't wait to get home. They are anticipating about 3-4 more weeks of rehab. 

He has been enjoying the visits from everyone and has seen some folks lately that he hasn't seen in a long time. Thank you to everyone who has kept him and us in your prayers and has come by to visit. He remains at National Healthcare (NHC) in Laurens in room 409. I will be transporting him up to Greenville Memorial Hospital tomorrow in a wheelchair van so that we can all be together for Thanksgiving since mom is there at Roger C Peace. So we will all be together for Thanksgiving lunch. I am so blessed and thankful especially since there were times where I wasn't sure if they would be here for the holidays and now they are both doing so much better. Thanksgiving means more than ever this year and I have so much to be thankful for. God is truly good all of the time....even in the valleys of life. I give Him all the glory and thanks for his miracle-healing power. The doctors and nurses have also been phenomenal especially at LTAC...both mom and dad didn't want to leave there when their discharge time came, so that speaks volumes in and of itself.
