When I got home, I was treated to a couple acts of service that blessed my heart.  Someone had put a big Yellow smiley face balloon on my mailbox with a Welcome home sign.  When I got inside, there was a big lift chair in the living room.

This is a blessing because I was concerned in the hospital about how I was going to transfer from sitting in handout of our furniture without straining or pushing more than 10 ponds (according to the nursing staff I weigh more than that).  It always amazed me that I was assigned a petite nurse that  barely weighed a buck ten (110 lbs.).  I acknowledge that I am a very large mammal (6'2" 270 lbs.) so transfers were a challenge in the hospital.

I enjoyed my bed last night for about 6 hours.  My memory foam remembered me, and I was happy! But i had to roll out of bed and I felt my sternum pop.  So I spent the rest of the time in my spiffy new-to-me chair.  It looks like my memory foam may have to remember me a little longer.

I feel better each day, but it is going to take a while before I get to feeling good.  I discovered something else on my walks; my lawn is not exactly level. There is a saying, "What goes up must go down."  Every time I hit an incline, my heart alerted me to these previously mentioned truths.
