On June 9th, Glenn went in for a routine hemorrhoid removal. Everything went as planned except the surgeon was a bit concerned about the appearance of it so he sent it off to pathology. On Monday, June 13th the pathology report came back as Anorectal Mucosal Melanoma. This is an extremely rare melanoma accounting for less than 1% of all melanoma cancers. We will be updating here as we have more information and our family covets your prayers at this time.
