Journal entry by Heather Harstad Wollan

It’s been five months today since the accident and we couldn’t be happier to report that Glen has officially moved home– just in time for Christmas no less.

On Wednesday, he walked up the front sidewalk he’s been looking at out his window daily since he arrived there on a gurney in August. He was accompanied by Sarah and Julie, his lead physical and occupational therapists, who, along with the entire staff at Courage Kenny’s Transitional Rehabilitation Program, we can’t say enough good things about.

He will continue to receive therapies on an in-home then outpatient basis and is looking forward to getting out and about more and more and eventually volunteering at Courage Kenny.

We are so grateful for all the thoughts and prayers that have been sent our family’s way and of course, to have him home.

This will likely be the last post here so I’ll leave you with this: hug your people extra tight, take those extra precautions to make it home safe to them, and continue to keep those who are missing loved ones in your prayers.
