Newest Update

Journal entry by Ginny Longtin

Wow, things have really taken a huge positive turn in my life since I last updated everyone.  Having recovered very well and even my doctors expressed how well I did go through the 6 Chemo and 34 Radiation treatments that I finished up on Feb. 24th.  I continued to improve in the area of recovery and my lung congestion has greatly improved and I am so grateful for the results.  They will be doing follow up scans sometime the end of May.

The next step on the journey was to have surgery on my rectal prolapse which I had before going into the treatments but it got much worse we figure due to the Chemo effects but the "pain" of that was much worse than what I went through with all those  treatments.  I had the surgery on that end April 13th and they also removed a very small cancer they called like removing skin cancer but the surgeon said he got it all and even took extra off the wall around it to  make sure and he said no treatment would be necessary but we will keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't change there in the bladder.

I can't believe how good I feel even just a little over a week after surgery with very little pain even in the incisions of which they were able to do it with laproscopically  instead of cutting me open.  Recovery is much faster and better.  I am so grateful that things went so well and I am on the road to recovery, staying in my God Wagon of course as I know God has work and plans for me to continue to work to build his Kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven.

I am totally overwhelmed with Joy and Gratitude  for the Outpouring  of Love,  Prayers, Messages and support from everyone.  The Amazing generosity from so many people with all the Gifts, Donations, Fundraisers and Benefits to help raise money to reduce the financial stress that goes along with this sort of challenge has really made a difference in our lives.  We are sooooo Blessed and forever grateful to God and to all of you for staying the course with us and we ask God to Bless each and everyone of you.  We pray that he continues to guide and strengthen us all in our call to Know, Love and Serve him all the days of our lives this side of heaven until he calls us home to be with him forever into eternity.

May the Grace and Peace of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God, and the Fellowship and Communion of the Holy Spirit be with each and every one of you all the days of your life.

Blessings and Love,

Ginny & Tony
