Well, the day has finally come - mom has finished her last day here at Craig Hospital. As we get ready to leave we can't express how amazing this place was for rehabilitation. They are truly the best of the best. It is a place filled with people going through the worst days of their lives, but yet the place is filled with bright smiling faces, progress, and most of all - hope. We cant wait to come back someday and show them how well mom has recovered. We leave to head home early tomorrow morning, and mom is beyond excited. Craig has been an incredible place for mom and us these last 3 months. She has made so much progress while she has been here, and we are so incredibly thankful. Her entire team of therapists, doctors, nurses, and technicians was incredible and taught us so much. Mom still has a very long road of recovery, but she has made so much progress here, and we feel that she is ready to start this next stage of recovery at home. Thank you all for following us during this journey. The amount of love and support we have received while we were all here at Craig was indescribable, and we will never be able to say thank you enough. We are sad to be leaving all of the fantastic people we met while here, but we are so happy to get mom home to start enjoying life again. As her therapists have said, therapy isn't life, but life is therapy, and we are so ready to start living again with her by our side. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we transition into this next chapter. Mom is truly a champ, and we know that she will continue to work hard to keep recovering. 

Since we are heading home now, the updates may not be as prominent, but we will still post updates of some of mom's big wins. We also love hearing from everyone, so please continue to reach out to us.
