Journal entry by Gina Krehel —
Day of my Colonoscopy, thinking that this was going to be a good diagnosis, like a polyp or fissure that's causing my cramps, bleeding and diarrhea.
But no...Dr. Webber told me that there is a tumor and it was malignant. Further testing was done by sending the biopsy to the pathologists.
I was shocked, scared and all I could think of was doom and gloom.
I was asked by Dr. Webber to go back to his office to get blood work and schedule a cat scan, which I did. I was able to get the blood work, but I couldn't get the cat scan until the next day.
The results from the catscan and the blood work wasn't going to be available until Monday.......2 WHOLE DAYS I had to wait....
