Journal entry by Gil Hoel —
Family and friends. As a follow up to the radiation treatment to my brain on January 24 I had an MRI scan yesterday to see what’s going on in there. Results were positive.
“Stable MRI brain as compared to 1/4/2024 without new lesion or significant interval increase in size of a previously visualized lesion to indicate progression of neoplastic disease.”
These “spot welding” radiation treatments (as one of my oncologists calls them) working in tandem with the targeted chemotherapy drug is continuing to keep the cancer at bay.
We plan to fly to Denver Friday to celebrate my sister’s 70th birthday. First trip of significance since being diagnosed in November 2022.
We attended my 12 year old granddaughter’s baptism last Sunday. It was a blessing to be a witness to this.
I continue to be grateful for the Love and support I receive regularly. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
