Journal entry by Gerard Hempstead —
Friends,
Dad lost his battle with leukemia yesterday afternoon.
The blessing is he knew all of you loved him and felt uplifted by your prayers and support. He did not have to suffer long and is now in heaven rejoicing with the saints smiling down on all of us.
Please continue to keep Dad and our family in your prayers.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 16th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Incarnate Word Catholic Church 13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017. There will be a reception line/visitation from 9-10am with the mass starting at 10:00 am. The service will also be available via live stream. Details to follow. All are welcome.
