George ’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

George has had a gradual cognitive decline over the last few years. It accelerated into a steeper decline the last few months. He was hospitalized on October 8th in a hospital near home. When a bed didn’t open in the mental health unit there, he was transferred to United hospital in St Paul. There he was stabilized. On November 21st he was moved to Edgemont Place in Blaine. This is close to our home and I can visit every day. He is adjusting very well and seems happy and content. We are so thankful to the Lord God for His presence with us through this challenging journey.
