Update and great prayer from Mat to all of G's football friends and friends on his prayer chain:
George was transferred to Spain Rehab early last week. Bob Shoulders went to see him and said roughly the following: They have him under a good therapy regimen; however, it is one day at a time with a little progress everyday. He has good strength in his left side, he is learning to swallow with crushed ice, he is trying to make sounds but frustrated, you know he is trying to talk! He did laugh out a couple of times and that is great news! He squeezed Bob's hand with his left hand and had a very strong grip!

Its going to be a long road for George so lets stay the course with him. Our prayers will help him the most...I will start here by asking our Father to heal George and give him a full recovery...we ask you to help George learn to swallow again, to eat and drink his food Father...be with George and bless him with full strength and the ability to use his right side...to be able to fully communicate and have his mind at full capacity...and Father we need you to be with him at all times...bless him with your presence...giving George patience and the perseverance he needs for complete recovery...be with him and guide him...thank you Father and it is in all these things we ask, in your name...Amen
Thanks guys and God bless you all,
Mat
