Hello Friends,

A quick note today on the anniversary of my Dad's passing.  I woke up to the sound of rain this morning and thought about this day 1 year ago as we all walked outside in the rain to say goodbye to my father. I remember turning around and seeing so many of you continue to make the procession over to the burial site and it was as if the line went on forever. I can see your faces, I can feel the love that you had for my Dad on that day and the deep sorrow you felt not only for our loss as a family but for your own. There is a lot that could be said for George, but that so many of you showed up for him in the rain (a feat for us Angelinos!) is for me, a testament to who he was as a person. To those of you that were unable to attend in person, please know that we were so moved that you took the time to watch the streaming of the funeral or reached out to us to express your condolences from afar. It has been a strange few years for all of us collectively, but that we were able to include so many of you whether in person or virtually, was such a blessing. It meant that people from all over were able to be with my Dad on his last physical journey and surround him with your love, prayers and blessings as a continuing reminder that he lived a life filled with love and that he left us the same way.

As always, we thank you for the continued support this past year and wish you much health and happiness for your families and you.

Most importantly, in true George fashion, please be sure to eat a good meal today in his honor. May his memory continue to be a blessing on us all. L'chaim!

Much Love,

Debbie
