Well after some heated discussion with the Doctors yesterday it seems they finally agree he is getting too much liquid and took him off his IV...

Now I understand you need to stay hydrated, and with chemo you need that fluid to help eliminate the chemicals associated with the cells being destroyed....

However, This is the third time where the IV has caused his breathing and heart issues.......Prior to starting chemo I questioned it and they said they were limiting his IV drip......Clearly not enough......

His creatine level was elevated but nothing in a critical range......or close to it........I understand the importance to make sure the kidneys are still functioning properly......

Blah Blah blah

Bottom line is he has gained 7lbs in the last 2 1/2 weeks......Who gains weight in a hospital on chemo?

Well its all water retention!!!!

Of course today his breathing is 100 times better than it was yesterday.....His heart is in AFIB.......So he is now on blood thinners and BP Meds to lower his heart beat....

They are giving him lasik to help him get rid of the water......now he is eliminating every 10-15 minutes.....which is frustrating him because he has to get up and go ...etc....

Good news is that the output of his heart is at 57 compared to 60 last week.....most of us average between 60-70......The 57 is not concerning to them....If it would have increased or decreased substantially from the 60 that would have been a red flag....

His blasts are down to 5 and his WBC is now 11.4......Everything headed in the right direction at least....

Today was day 5 of 7 for chemo......
