Journal entry by Georgia Gibbon Bertelstein

Dear Dear Dear Everybody!

Thank you so much for your part in that INCREDIBLE Vigil Ceremony! It was transformative for all of us--including George.  (If you weren't there, don't worry the effects are omnipresent, all you have to do is receive them...) I am still integrating the impact of everyone's impeccable service and presence.

The only thing I want to mention here about the Vigil was the transformation in his aspect from the beginning to the end.  Powerful incontrovertible difference, captured more than adequately in photos. Apparently the light body can still heal after the heart and brain stop.  That was a lot of healing.  I was inclined to post photos of the Vigil here, but that may not be respectful to all viewers of this page.  Also we've asked everyone with photos/vids from the Vigil not to post, just share with your loved ones.

There will be a media display of it (photos and videos) at the memorial where people can opt in for the visual experience.  Memorial date TBD, thinking spring, we'll be informed....

Josie and i are grateful to be so thoroughly supported at this time.  The support from love and attention is REAL and deeply felt. Thank you everyone who is helping us with everything from the ongoing honoring of the INCREDIBLE flower prayer and all the next things that show up to be tended (the morphine, log and cold packs et al...) to food company and having a home environment conducive to studying physics.

For me, the connection in soul heart and mind continues to strengthen and has become more clear than ever. We had a good leg up on that as it was as much a part of how we related to one another as anything. The work is continuing and we are still doing it together. What is true cannot be changed. It is a source of joy and excitement to me to be shown the forms of how this is done.  So far it's exceeded every expectation-which i wouldn't have known even how to expect...

The loss to my eyes, nose, ears and body is not ameliorated by the connection that is ongoing, it exists on its own, incontrovertible, ubiquitous, a longing that cannot be quelled.  I have the rest of my life to grow into that pain/love.  I would wish this on everyone ("would" because i know it is not "for" everyone).  It beats the alternative of never loving like this and therefore not having this to lose.  As long as I'm attached to the form of Georgia, I'm attached to the form of George.

Please get a copy if you don't have one already. They both make great holiday gifts! My dad told me he's reading it to help him get through the pain of losing George.  I can't even that's so beautiful to me.

My sincerest gratitude for being here and reading this and all the love you have included yourself in and shared with us. Thank you again for being here with me and Jo and with each other!

All of my love,

Georgia
