Hello Everyone! This Caring Bridge site is to keep you posted about Gary and how he is doing as he navigates this final phase of Lewy Body Dementia.  Also, we would love to have your stories, photos and videos showing how Gary has touched your life. A few weeks ago, I asked Gary what was on his bucket list. Because of his dementia, I didn't know if I would get an answer that made sense, but I thought if I did, I would do everything in my power to make it come true. His bucket list answer was, "Help People." I know that Gary has helped many, many people over the years and I would love to be able to share those stories with him as well as create a record of all the help he has given so generously over his life. Please share your experiences about how Gary has helped you or taught you. Thank you and bless you for having been a part of Gary's beautiful life.

Distribution of Ashes in the Cascade Mountains Near Holden Village

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that I am planning to take Gary’s ashes to Holden Village this summer. I have been working with Gary’s friend to set up a time to do this. I wanted to let everyone know in case someone wants to visit Holden and would like to try and coordinate the timing. This is not official Holden programming – just a small, informal memorial planned by his friends. 

 

We are planning to be there from July 2-8, 2023. This is a busy time at Holden because of the 4th of July holiday; however, Gary's friend selected it because some of Gary's musician friends will be there. Registration is now open on the Holden website. If you think you want to attend, you will probably need to make your reservation right away. I realize it’s a bit of a long shot for everything to work out for anyone to attend, but it would be great if someone can, so I wanted to get the word out. 

 

Thank you for your support of Gary and me. He was a beautiful person and soul and he is missed.
