Welcome to our CaringBridge website.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Thank you for visiting.  (This site is maintained by some of Gary and Jana's friends and ministry partners.)

Gary is a loving Pastor and servant of YHWH/God that has served in numerous roles at numerous churches and ministries in Texas and Oklahoma.  He is currently serving at NorthGate Discipleship Center in Pampa and Harvest House Ministries & Community Garden of Pampa.  He has had issues with his throat being sore for the last few months.  He and Jana and their family and friends have prayed faithfully for healing.  He has been to the doctor several times and received only temporary relief from the treatments.

On December 15, 2019 an ENT doctor in Amarillo diagnosed him with throat cancer. Gary is seeking all legitimate treatment options. He does not currently have insurance, but is pursuing coverage. One oncology center in Amarillo will not begin treatment without secured insurance or some other definite form of payment. Another oncology center in Amarillo may cover all costs, but is reviewing his case with no definite date for a decision. He is in constant, considerable pain just trying to swallow. His energy levels are low which keeps him from working extra side jobs to bolster their income like he has for years.

Please pray for healing, peace, and comfort for Gary and Jana. They are Spirit-filled Pastors that know very well how to entreat YHWH/God for all of His healing and financial promises. They need positive, loving support from their faith-filled family and friends.

(this is copied from a FB post by Jana on 2/4/2020 at 9:39pm CST):

"Today has been a most encouraging day! We went to Harrington Cancer Center and the first nurse looked at Gary and said can I pray with you I see you’re a Pastor. She prayed and decreed the Word over us!! Then the doctor and nurses began explaining All that is going to go on and aggressively started the plan. Had an EKG then a dentist appointment to clear his teeth for radiation. One tooth pulled. He was given a pain relief patch so he doesn’t have to continue swallowing pills!
Tomorrow we will see the radiation doctor and find out more about how we will proceed! Please pray tomorrow afternoon as Gary will be getting his chemo port and a feeding tube to get some nutrients into his body!

We continue to be overwhelmed by the love and support of our friends and family. The strength we walk in comes from God and the prayers of the saints. We continue to speak and decree the Word over Gary and we know HE IS A CREATIVE MIRACLE!!"
