WOW. I did it. Today I completed my last radiation treatment. I had a total of 30 treatments - 5 days a week for 6 weeks.
I've shared, earlier, the side affects are catching up with me and my nurse practitioner told me I would continue to "cook" for a week after my last treatment. Not a fun thought, but she also told me my neck looks more like someone after three weeks of treatments not someone who just finished six. So, I'm doing pretty good all things considered.
God has gotten me through this thing so far and I know he will get me through to the end. Again, thank you all for your prayers and support. Please continue praying for my body to heal now that the treatments are done.
