Journal entry by Kathy Mcfadden

This is our second Sunday in ICU. Gary’s hair is beginning to grow back around the drain in his head. We’ve learned to read the monitors and faces of the medical staff whom we have also grown to love. Except for bruising dissipating Gary is basically the same. I just watched as the neuro surgeon shook Gary, shouted his name and hoped for good results but he didn’t get any. This entire experience has taught me so much more about charity, patience and totally relying on heavens’s guidance and love.
