Everyone who knows Seth, knows how he lives life to the fullest. Whether it’s singing on the praise team at church or dancing in the aisles at work, he always has a way of putting smiles on the faces of everyone around him! His pursuit to know God, to serve the church, and to follow Jesus with all his heart has truly become his passion.
On the evening of September 21st, Seth was driving to a nearby friend’s house when he suddenly started loosing mobility and all feeling on the right side of his body. He called his friend to let him know something was wrong but was having difficulty speaking. Miraculously, he was able to drive the few remaining minutes, where his friend was waiting for him and immediately rushed him to the Emergency Room. Shortly after a CT scan which showed active bleeding on the brain, he was flown to the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO. There they performed an emergency craniotomy, removing part of his skull to relieve the pressure on his brain. There was extensive bleeding in the brain during the procedure and his brain was significantly swelled. The surgery was successful and saved Seth’s life! He has been making steady improvements since then. He is no longer on the ventilator and has been working with the therapists daily. Seth is currently still in the ICU with possibly a very long road to recovery ahead of him. Without a doubt God has been right next to him as this story has been unfolding and will continue to walk with Seth in the days, months, and years ahead! Truly we’ve seen His loving, guiding hand all along the way. Thank you all for your love, support and especially for joining us in prayer on our dear Seth’s behalf!
