Journal entry by Tyler Henritze —
Fred is “graduating” from Shepherd today and being sent home. After a successful defibrillator and pace maker implant last Friday and great progress from daily rehab Fred is being let out of Shepherd earlier than expected. Fred will continue out-patient rehab for some time to “fine-tune” his mental acuity but we are thrilled and blessed with the amazing recovery he has made and thankful to everyone who has been so supportive.
From Terry Henritze:
Fred is coming home. In honor of this joyful moment for our family I wanted to take the yoke from my children and sign off on the CaringBridge sight.
I could write an epistle about all that’s gone on over the past 4-5 weeks but it’s not about us, it’s about you!
First Responders, cards, texts, emails, food, flowers, shifts with Fred, babysitting, visiting with us, helping navigate referrals for care, phone calls, snacks, drinks, dinner breaks, extra cars, errands, great doctors and nurses, and most of all prayer. To our friends and prayer warriors we salute you as our heroes, trench defenders, intercessors, our full armor in the battle. So “Well done good and faithful servants”. James 5:16 “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”
Date March 27, 2019
