Frank’s Story

Site created on May 14, 2021

Thank you for visiting our CaringBridge page! We are choosing to use this site to update our friends and family about Frank's condition. We wish we could reach out to each of you individually, but it can become overwhelming trying to keep everyone updated. Please know we feel your love and support and appreciate it more than you know!

"As many of you know, Frank suffered a serious head injury on May 5th while working off a ladder on a construction site. He is currently being cared for by amazing staff at Munson ICU in Traverse City.

Frank's family needs immediate of assistance to pay medical bills while their savings can be used to pay everyday household bills. If you are able, please consider donating to Frank's GoFundMe page, which can be found under the "Ways to Help" tab.

Frank is the one friend who always comes to help others. He lives a life of sacrifice and modesty - the kindest and most gentle man we know. His talents are so broad, with an intimate knowledge of nature, science and construction methods - and he shares these talents with everyone who needs help.

More than anything, Frank loves his family and especially his beautiful grandson, Mateo. Let's get Frank back on his feet so he can resume his active life as Boppa."

Journal entry by Jacque Popp

Hello we have been very busy here going to PT 7 days a week but Frank’s range of motion in his shoulder is improving very well for how far out he is from his surgery! He is still in a lot of pain but other than that he is doing well! Thank you for your prayers!
