Thank you for your support.
Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you for all the ways you lifted me up and kept me strong through this journey.
THANK YOU FOR YOU LOVE. ❤️

I am walking out of what is hopefully the last hospital, leaving this last bed, for the rest of this life.  August 8th I, WE, started this journey and in just under 30 days it should all be over.  It’s often said “what a different a day makes.” The last seven months have not made a difference, they’ve changed my heart and soul forever.

Blessed, lucky, thankful, there’s a million feelings I’ve experienced... But of all things, I know one for certain, love is the greatest. I Love my family more than ever and can’t thank them enough all for their support. I’ve never been closer to my wife and kids than I am now.

I felt the love and prayers sent by extended family and friends from all parts of the world. You raised me up and gave me the strength to persevere, you gave me the love I needed to remain resilient at times when the alternative was so much easier to comprehend.

After this surgery they tell me not to worry. I’m no longer at risk of dying from what turned out to be a surprisingly large hole in my heart. A hole that so many times before, should have ended my end. But what I now know is that it’s the love that’s made me so strong. Love from all of my family and friends that kept me strong, that plugged the hole in my heart with the strength I needed to defy the odds. And although the hole is closed it’s that same love that will keep me fulfilled for a lifetime to come.

Thank you all for your support, thank you all for your love. I’m truly blessed to be here, and to be so, uninhibited. But I’m most blessed to have such great friends, amazing family and the best wife and kids that fill my heart with love each and every day.

I love you always and forever.
