Today is a good day. Frank’s oncology appointment this past Tuesday was routine, no new changes, no evidence of cancer. He sees his oncologist only every six months now. And, more miracles, he’s getting his COVID booster shot today. Yay, science!
There are things about our life that changed permanently because of the cancer, but neither better or worse, they are the way things happen now for a person who survived cancer.
We head into this day grateful and recognizing that every day is a gift.
