Great news! No one on the tumor board thinks it’s tumor. 🙌🏼 God is so good!

Four weeks ago Papa Frank had another check in MRI and then was sent for a PET scan because there was a concerning spot in his brain that lit up more than expected. We were given 3 potential reasons
1. Radiation Necrosis
2. Inflammation
3. New Tumor Growth

We met with Papa’s Neuro Oncologist and he wanted to wait for the Tumor Board to discuss the case before making a call. Needless to say, it feels like we have all been holding our breath over the holidays and focusing on minds to not create scenarios. Our hugs were just a little tighter, a little longer and we hold our moments with him close. Even the kids have been so intentional with their Umpapa. We have kept them informed every step of the way. They love their Umpapa. 🩵

We are thankful for their team approach and bringing everyone to the table. Today they met and all agreed they didn’t think it was new tumor growth. 🙌🏼

They want to continue to watch the area and begin a chemotherapy treatment that will help with inflammation that we believe is effecting balance and what could be occurring in this area of his brain.

They gave him his first dose of a chemotherapy today and he will have 4 total doses every 21 days. Between his 2nd and 3rd dose they will do another MRI because they want to compare and see if the spot is shrinking from the first two treatments. They are hoping to get his treatments & MRI set up here in Idaho with his California team still being the Captain of Papa’s Brain Cancer Treatment ship.

Thanks for continuing to pray alongside us!
