Welcome to the CaringBridge website for our dear friend Natalie King. We are using it as a central place to keep Natalie's family, friends and colleagues updated on her current condition and progress toward recovery. The site also gives everyone an opportunity to offer words of encouragement if they'd like.  

On October 9, 2018 - Natalie was involved in a major in a car accident and  suffered critical injuries including a severe injury to her spine and neck.  Since then, Natalie has been in the Intensive Care Unit at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. 

On October 10, 2018 - Natalie had a successful spinal fusion surgery on her neck. She has been on a intubated and on a ventilator in the days following the accident and her medical team has been slowly weaning her off of sedation, allowing  her to me more awake and communicative.

Natalie's family is in town from different parts of the country and  are very grateful for the kindnesses that everyone has shown them.

Happy Thanksgiving

Sorry it's a day late but HAPPY THANKSGIVING.  This year I have so much to be thankful for.  First of all, the fact I'm still here, secondly, the immense outpouring of support I have received from my friends, family, and my school family.  I am in the process of writing out "Thank You" notes but my hand strength isn't what it used to be so I want to say "Thank You" to all of you.  Write more soon!
