William had a great Birthday on Sunday! He is now officially one year old. He enjoyed a day full of presents, food, phone calls, Skype visits, and just plain fun. This week he will be checking out all his new toys. We were limited to the four of us this year. Luckily, Grandma was here to enjoy the day. We are hoping for a real birthday party next year with guests.He received a lot of fun gifts from family and friends- Too numerous to list them all. So appreciated! Thank you everyone!We finished the day by watching a slideshow of William’s first year of life. It was fascinating to see the changes that he has made over this past year. We were really drawn back to the 104 days in the NICU. It was also amazing to see how small he was when he first came home. Literally, an amazing year that we really don’t want to have to repeat. We feel so blessed.This Friday he will be going in for his 12 month well check. We are anxious to see how much he weighs and how tall he is. It seems that he is growing a lot lately. This week was really exciting when he started crawling. It is an army crawl. The most exciting part for him is that he can really move forward now. He has been wanting to move so badly. This will make us have to baby proof the house all the more. William loves to go go go.Off to year number two! Stay tuned......
