Hola,

Port is out, labs are good, the scan is clear, feeling great...we are done!!

This journey has been trying and painful at times but has been tolerable because of the enormous outpouring of support from all of you. You gave us energy when we were depleted, you made us laugh when I wasn't supposed to (after surgery), you never let us lose hope when we were down, just knowing that we could call on any one of you if we needed anything at all was the security that we counted on to get us through this.

I say "we" because Sharon went through every bit of this with me, all of the uncertainty, seeing me in pain and not able to take it away, watching me lying in bed fatigued and listless at times. Thank god for the vows that I tricked her into taking, especially the sickness and health clause! If anyone deserves any congratulations on getting through this, it is her.

This will be my last entry into this journal. thank you all again and please come and visit us...if you are vaccinated, or not, we are!
