The post we've all been waiting for....Adam is HOME!
Adam was discharged yesterday afternoon! Mom and I went to pick him up and bring him home just in time for Christmas. He was sent home with oxygen (and a bag full of meds) and will use that as long as needed. For the time being, he'll be staying at our moms to gain his strength, lung endurance, and recover more fully. We arrived home late last night and think he's doing remarkably well (must be partially due to that stubbornness of his!)
Thank you to each one of you throughout this journey - for your prayers, encouragement, support, and love. Each one is so greatly appreciated, and we can't thank you all enough. Adam is surely loved! Our greatest thanks is to the good Lord above, for saving Adam, bringing peace along this journey, and giving us the greatest Christmas gift of all.
We have been so blessed this year and I am forever grateful my daughters and nieces will grow up in a world with their Uncle Adam.
Merry Christmas!
