Day 61: From Ira (Dad)
She did it again!!! She did it again!!! She did it again!!! Yesterday, during physical therapy & with limited assistance, Farrah was standing, holding her head up on her own. For the first time in 60 days, I saw Farrah lift her right leg over the rail, then her super active left leg, then with her left arm & torso, Farrah tried to get out of the bed! I leaped off the chair to stop her!!! Later, during speech therapy, a "hard cap" was put over her trach!!! Then Farrah successfully ate & swallowed gelatinous foods. Farrah is now breathing only thru her nose & mouth! The trach is scheduled to be removed before Monday & the hole closed up permanently!!! Incredible progress this week. All of the thousands of prayers are working!!! More miracles!!! Remember to hug and kiss your children your children & tell your loved ones how much they are loved. Have a safe & amazing weekend!!! God bless all y'all!!! ❣️❣️❣️❣️
