Faith’s Story

Site created on September 29, 2022

On Tuesday, September 27th around 1 pm, Faith (23) told her co-worker she wasn't feeling 100% and had a migraine. She stood up and thankfully sat down at a lower chair before falling to the ground and experiencing a seizure. Co-workers were able to be with her as she went through it and called  an ambulance shortly after. She was semi-coherent as she was loaded and transported to Ephrata ER.

After an MRI & CAT scan, we were updated around 8:30 pm that she had an enlarged lymph node on her right upper chest and they had also found lesions on her brain. During the night, she was transferred to York hospital to be assessed by the neurological team there.

On Thursday morning, she had a biopsy performed on her lymph node and those results will take up to 5 days to come back.

Please join the Stoltzfoos & Moyer families in prayer for our sweet Faith Lanae. She  is surrounded in support, love and care by her husband, Dakota. Pray for strength and peace over them during this time of uncertainty,

Faith has remained incredibly positive and hasn't lost her signature smile.

Please pray over the doctors' hands through her procedure today, and wisdom for the doctors' as they assess her and a diagnosis is confirmed. Pray for our families as we process this sudden news and go thru the long hours of each day by Faith's side until we gain the understanding of her results.

Psalms 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Stand in agreement with us in believing for complete healing over her body, in Jesus' name.

Happy New Year!

I was able to have a small break between appointments over the holiday season. It was a relaxing and fulfilling to spend time with my family and friends.

Before Thanksgiving I had my first MRI scan since the hospital, to verify and review the radiation done on my brain. The results showed significant shrinkage of the areas treated and no new lesions formed.

Today, I did my first CT scan since the hospital and they found the medication I’m taking is shrinking my main mass in my lungs and my lymph nodes. I am very happy with these results starting out my 2023 year.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Dakota and me. Moving forward, pray for my doctors and nurses I have the honor of working with on this journey. They have truly touched my life in so many ways and I hope they feel uplifted with my spirit through all of you.

Love, Faith Moyer
