Journal entry by Kerry Palleschi —
Hi All,
Faith was released from the hospital late yesterday and came home. She was able to see the two older kids briefly and then got some good rest. We had a quiet morning together, before a late drop-off for Noah.
Her doctors said that she is on "light duty" with plenty of rest - but that it is best if she participates in her daily routine as much as possible - as actively using her brain in the best thing for her aphasia.
Today, Faith scheduled her own follow-up appointment with her primary care physician , who will continue to monitor her progress and refer her to a speech therapist and for any other therapies needed.
Thank you for all the meals delivered, school pick-ups, and prayers. Keep the prayers coming!!
In the coming days, as Faith and Justin figure out where they need additional support, we will reach out to let folks know how you can continue to help <3
A $25 donation to CaringBridge powers a site like Faith's for two weeks. Will you make a gift to help ensure that this site stays online for them and for you?
