Eve’s Story

Site created on September 11, 2019

We welcome you to Eve's site and we praise God that the reason we have started this CaringBridge site is because of the enormous outpouring of love and concern for Eve and our family. It has become impossible to manage all the communication individually. Thank you for letting us update you this way.

For those of you who do not know my daughter, Eve, well--I would like to share about who she is... a beautiful spirit,  a kind heart, a gentle soul.
She's loyal to her friends, turned 16 in April, and loves to drive her Subaru. She's an avid Winnipeg Jets fan as she was born there. Her dog's name is Adam (she smiles if you don't catch the Adam and Eve connection). Not a day goes by without her telling us how cute he is. Eve loves school and just started college this fall at M State full time.  She has played violin for 11 years and  has been a part of the Fargo-Moorhead Youth Symphony for the past 6 years.

On September 4th, Eve was diagnosed as having a large mass growing between her tailbone and organs. She has experienced a lot of pain because of it. Her journey--our journey--is unfolding in new ways daily.

Thank you for your prayers, love and concern,
-Cora

If you are unable to attend you can watch on FaceBook (public event).
The link is on my FaceBook page under Cora Warkentin Wickstrom.
This will be the same service that was held on December 16, 2023 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

Kurt and I are incredibly touched and very grateful for the outpouring of support to the Eve Wickstrom Memorial Fund. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

For those who were unable to attend or watch the live stream service on December 16, 2023 and would still like to, it is still available on the Olson Funeral Home website. When you find Eve’s picture, click on it then hit the pictures/video tab and you will be able to view the service.
