A day later and it all feels surreal. 

As if none of this actually happened.

But the emptiness is there.

The part of the heart that Evelyn filled remains empty. 

The busyness of life helps to keep going, but there are times when certain words or things remind me of her and I break down. 

Your prayers and support are a protective wall set up to protect our hearts and minds, and no wave, no attack from the enemy has been able to break through.
