Welcome to Eva’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportDear friends & family,
I see now that the last time I sent out an update on Eva’s health was December of last year. Sorry it's been so long!
First and foremost, Eva had her bi-annual CT scan 2 weeks ago and met with her oncologist who said there was no progression. 🎉🎉🎉
The protocol she’s been on (for 4 years now) continues to be effective. Her oncologist recently decreased the dosage of her primary drug (Ibrance) from 125mg to 100mg. They don't have any concern about this being less effective against keeping the cancer at bay, but do anticipate her WBC count coming back up to more typical levels and hopefully less fatigue.
Otherwise, she’s as happy as she’s always been. Spending the summer poolside at the JCC, working for a neighbor friend in her gardening business, and walking Josie all over Sylvan Park. She’s also been volunteering her time at the Heimerdinger Foundation which prepares healthy meals, free of charge, for patients fighting cancer.
In October we traveled to the Scottish Highlands for the first time. We hiked and ate and walked villages and cities and had a wonderful trip!
I just wanted you to know she continues to be healthy and happy and for that we are SO incredibly thankful. As always, your continued love and support and kind words mean everything to us. More than ever, we can see that friends and family are truly the most important part of this life.
Big Love,
Parker, Eva, & Josie
