Miracle of miracles friends and family! After only five days in the hospital, Ethan has made such amazing progress that his medical team feels he is safe and ready to head home and continue his recovery and care  in the comfort of his own home. What a wonderful healing and amazing God we have!! 

We know that you have a lot of questions regarding his care and needs once home, and as we learn more and those arise, we will make sure to fill you in. For now, here are a few immediate prayer needs:

• Safe, easy, and quick discharge process from the hospital.
• Confidence for Erin as she begins to assume the role of caretaker once Ethan is home. 
• Comfort for Ethan as he makes the transition and adjusts to recovery at home.
• Peace for the Shockley kids Elijah (2yr) and Ellie (6mo) as they experience Ethan when he is home. Especially for Elijah, as per doctors orders, Ethan is not allowed to pick up and hold his kids for several weeks.
