Newest Update

Journal entry by Seth Hollermann

Good morning! Sorry it has been a while, really a good thing nothing major to update on! Ethan is currently going threw round 2 of 6 of his antibody/immunotherapy treatment. He did really well for his 1st round and so far is rocking this treatment!
Ethan is starting to gain a little weight! We are finally able to run his feeds at a higher rate overnight and at naps and he is eating more by mouth. He had clinic on Friday and they said his weight is back up to starting weight from a year ago! Hopefully only keeps going up from here!
Ethan has been very busy these past couple of months. He was granted a new bedroom from My Happy Place. A foundation from Iowa . after spending months sleeping on the couch next to me, Ethan is finally sleeping in his " car" room as he calls it. It has been amazing for Ethan to want to go to his room to play amd to sleep!
The kids enjoyed doing pumkins this year. Ethan took his time and painted his and help daddy dig out the insides of his pumpkin. Ethan must have used 2 containers of glitter!  Ethan was a monkey for Halloween this year and had a blast going out with his sister.  Ethan has also been enjoying time with family and even had a couple sleep over a at Gaga's.
Ethan will have repeat scans after the 3rd round of antibody. So next month. He comes in for treatment every 4 weeks. We stay on 7th floor at Children's where Ethan has still remembered his favorite nurses and big blue truck. We basicly hang out for thw week and go home Friday. Since we were able to get Ethan on the right pain meds he has been doing great with the antibody treatments. Lots of pre meds amd pain meds threw out but he is still able to be up playing and having a good time!

Thanks for thw continued prayers and support! #tinybutttough
