Ethan’s Story

Site created on November 3, 2018

This has been the hardest 24 hours we have experienced, but we want to keep everyone up to date on our little battler, Ethan.  Ethan was rushed by his dad to the ER in Glenwood and then airlifted to the pediatric ICU at HCMC on Thursday afternoon, November 1st, after he was found by his dad unresponsive in his garage after he fell off a stool looking at deer pictures on the laptop while his dad was outside winterizing equipment.  He has had many tests done over the course of the past 1 1/2 days-CT scans, EEG, MRI, all of which have come back very positive.  However he is still restless and confused as he is making his way to recovery and could use all the prayers he can get.  Thank you all for your support and positive encouragement, we appreciate you all!  We will continue to keep you updated through Ethan's progress on this site.

Journal entry by Rebecca Mueller

Ethan has been discharged and we are heading home!  The doctors and nurses have been absolutely wonderful here and I don’t think we could have been in a better place.
