His maintenance chemo phase that was supposed to continue until August 2025 has been shortened by a full year due to more studies showing that an extra year of chemotherapy doesn’t improve patient outcomes for his kind of leukemia. 

His final dose of IV chemo is scheduled for August 13, 2024 and his FINAL dose of chemo pills will be on August 29, 2024! His port should come out in August which will significantly decrease his risk for infections as well! 

We are beyond grateful for the past and ongoing research that has made this possible for Ethan and so many other cancer patients. One fun event coming up is the Big Climb in April that is a fundraising event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society that provides funding for many research studies that lead to innovations and improvements for cancer patient care.
