Journal entry by Carol Tentinger —
Because of my TBI (traumatic brain injury) my OT from the NDBC (National Dizzy and Balance Center that was , many months ago, referred by the Mayo Clinic)I was finally considered a great candidate to see a specialist for prism glasses. The idea is as listed in the attachment, to have the vestibular and the synapse in my brain getting in line with my eyes. Ever since the accident, my eyesight, both close and distant has caused me terrible headaches, double vision and dizziness. So, finally, this past two weeks I saw a specialist at Vantage Point Eyes in Woodbury who finally, with many eye tests, prescribed PRISM eyeglasses 👓 to be worn for as long as it takes to bring “ my eyes and brain” on the “same page”, so to speak.
Since my procedure a couple months ago when I had a procedure done at Mayo to correct my positional headaches, as Chuck describes as, we are peeling back the onion 🧅 for healing ❤️🩹.
My new added photos are my 2 prescribed prism sets of glasses. I need the two pairs to alternate them for closeup and distant.
You may want to Google prism glasses for TBI to understand how they may work?
I firmly believe that Jesus lined me up for this gift to further heal and figure out more of my purpose with Chuck and for God’s glory.
Thank you all again, for so many of you praying for me and the love and support all of my family and friends helping me heal with so much love and care.
Merry Christmas to you all,
Carol
