They tell us Ernie is just waiting for the thoracic surgeon to ok his transfer back to the 12th floor from the cardiac care unit, where he has been since Thursday late afternoon following his triple bybass. 

His recovery has been very good so far, with one day (Saturday) having a little struggle with his breathing, but otherwise very good. He is up and walking throughout the day and has a grrat appetite.

Once back on the cardiac floor we will know more about a discharge date, so stay tuned!
