Journal entry by Erin Schuurmans

Second round week two.
This week has by far been the hardest. Who knew you could cry for no reason at all- constantly!
Thrush was in full force again. Which means antibiotics, and not eating bc the burn you experience down the esophagus is unbearable.
My voice is once again gonzo.😪
My nurses- they are the most amazing individuals out there. They way they work with me but all these others patients is just almost tearjerking. It takes a special nurse to work in this area- I am thankful for each of them.💕.
I received a bracelet this week from my guardian angel and let me tell you the power I feel is something I can not explain. It also makes me teary eyed every time I look it. It’s more than a bracelet- there is so much meaning behind this and I will always hold that story in my heart .
My work had been amazing. They are so supportive and easy to work with during this process. Everytime my boss talks about my treatment I cry. He just has that dad feeling!
Had some visitors which is always uplifting. Thank you all for the gifts and prayers that keep coming. They are very appreciated!  There is no way someone can go through this journey alone. It is mentally exhausting!
Cal and Aubs are doing well. Cal getting ready to complete his first year of college and Aubs getting ready to a driver. Watch out road 😊 besides that you will most likely find them on any nice day at the golf course. Not sure how I got two golfers but I am glad they both found something they enjoy.
Aubs also did go out and do some photos in the storm and they turned out amazing.
Besides that nothing too exciting.
Side note anyone with sinus and nose problems- NAVAGE is the real thing. I get daily nose bleeds and this lil thing had been a lifesaver only using it three days so far!
Have an amazing weekend! Enjoy the little things in life and smile!
