A quick update for readers:
Eric had a call with his Milwaukee oncologist Thursday night. Here is a short summary:

Dr. Ruggeri would like his tumor markers to be lower. He said they should be checked weekly now. He said he hopes his tumor will be operable sooner rather than later, stating the apparent spots on kidney and lung (metastatic tissue) needs to be gone as well as the tumor having shrunk enough to be operable. He said if that’s not the case “because Eric is a tough case,” a super high dose chemo will be next step that kills off the bone marrow, so they harvest stem cells first and then give them back to him after. “This may require being closer to a larger cancer center and possible inpatient treatment.”

Not exactly what we had planned for but we know God is in control and has his arms wrapped around Eric 🙏❤️

We won’t know any definitive answers until the CT scan is done and analyzed in June.
Thank you for all of the prayers, love and generosity. We very much appreciate it.
