Emry Kay ’s Story

Site created on September 27, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

During Gab's pregnancy she and Luke discovered there was a heart problem associated with Down Syndrome.  They knew that Emry would take them on a wild ride, they just never knew how wild.

After she was born they spent 39 days in the NICU.  Once she was released the doctors kept a close eye on her heart and knew that surgery would be needed around 3/4 months old.  They needed her strong and healthy as can be!  They decided that once she hit 10lbs it was time to schedule it.  The surgery sounded to be as "routine" as heart surgery goes on a 3 month old however Wednesday September 26th  Emry began fighting a completely different battle.

If you would like to send a monetary donation please send donations to Members Credit Union in North Branch. They can be dropped off - Benefit of Emry Meyer, c/o Janice Olson.  Or they can be mailed to Members Cooperative Credit Union, 6241 Main Street, North Branch, MN 55056.  You can also send it through Venmo or PayPal to Annette or Janice and they will deposit it directly into her account for you.  The donations will be used for the extensive health bills Emry has already accrued and for things such as gas and food as Gab and Luke will be spending all their time here with Emry.
