emma’s Story

Site created on November 5, 2019

I’m setting this up to keep everyone updated in one place.  In July I went to Ethiopia, during that trip I started having some crazy symptoms, but they came and went.  Fast forward a few months, I really wasn’t feeling well so did some doctoring.  Doctors found a 15 cm mass on my ovary.  Cancer markers came back elevated.  I’m having surgery next Wednesday, November 13.

My amazing friend Tracy set up a shirt fundraiser for me.  Here’s all the info  “Dear Friends and Family of Emma, We have an awesome opportunity to show our love and support to Emma through a t-shirt/sweatshirt fundraiser.  Listed below will be a link where you can order Team Emma wear.  $10 from each item purchased will go towards helping Emma with medical, travel and other expenses incurred as a result of her journey with ovarian cancer.  The online store will be open through February 16.  After the store is "closed" it will take approximately 2 weeks for shirts to be ready.  You will be notified of when shirts are competed or pay a little extra to have them mailed directly to you.  Once you get your shirts, wear them and snap photos of yourself and share encouragement with Emma Evers.  Her fight is not done alone!  Let's all share our love with her and let her know we are there for her both emotionally and financially.  An account has been set up and a link will be posted later if you wish to donate more or directly.  Thanks in advance for being a part of "Team Emma".  Her fight is our fight!” https://teamemma2020.itemorder.com/sale
