Emily’s Story

Site created on April 15, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On April 14th late in the evening "Wita" started to complain of headaches and began to vomit. Angelo called 911 and an ambulance responded quickly and took her to the hospital. There it was discovered that she had fluid on her brain due to a bleeding aneurysm. She was transferred to Richland County Hospital where they drained the aneurysm. The later surgery to remove the aneurysm through a coiling technique was successful with no complications. We will try to provide updates here as much as possible. We covet your prayers for God's healing and strength for the family.

Mom can hardly wait for tomorrow! She is still on a soft diet and will continue with therapy. She will want to get back to church and the Coffee Shelf but we will need to take baby steps! (If I can keep her pinned down!) She is thankful for all your prayers and cards and well wishes. Visits at her home will be welcome of course!
