A lot has happened in the last couple weeks. I learned my cancer is responding very well to the chemo. My heart is normal, just a little bit of pericardial fat. I had my LAST CHEMO yesterday. 16 rounds total. My crazy sister came to surprise me and surprisingly, they let her in. My one nurse was like "well you kind of put us on the spot" haha 🤷‍♀️I will still be going every 3 weeks for my immunotherapy but the nurses say the side effects will be NOTHING like with chemo so praise the lord for that. 

I have my surgery scheduled for April 7th. I met with the surgical oncologist on Monday 3/1 and she is confident since I have responded so well to chemo we can go ahead with the sentinel node biopsy instead of a complete axillary node removal. woo hoooo!!!! I did NOT want lymphedema and it is a very very low chance I will get it since she will only be removing the nodes connected to my breast!

I went and got a pedicure Monday as well and I was telling the nail tech she couldn't cut anything but could file and push back cuticles etc because I have cancer and had chemo coming up and some WONDERFUL ANGEL heard me and paid for my pedicure, so I sat there a blubbering mess reflecting on how amazing humans can be!

I said screw it and gave myself something to look forward to...VEGAS BABY AUGUST 2021!!! I can NOT wait.
