Update for Saturday: This morning they pulled out her pace lines (they put those in during surgery in case they need help with heart rhythm during and after the surgery. Some patients may need a pacemaker post surgery but Emily is good so they pulled them! They took out her neck line this morning and all 4 chest tubes at noon. That was very painful (Jess and Ben watched 😳). She’s almost unhooked from everything now except the wound vac which will stay on until she leaves. She has to take 4 more walks today and we are hoping to get her outside now that she’s unhooked. The cardiologist was in and says everything is right on track.  She’s managing the pain and it should be better now that those annoying tubes are out! Keep the prayers coming!
