Emily is so alert and awake throughout the day! Her days are filled with physical therapy and relearning! She is continuing to walk more every day and is getting stronger.
Emily has asked for some specific prayer requests like her swallow test next Monday. Emily is handing food well but continues to struggle with thin liquids. She also has a bronchoscopey tomorrow so please pray for for peace of mind during that. Please also continue to pray for comfort as Emily is taking a very little pain medication.
Emily is having to relearn multiple things and is unable to respond to all of the loving messages consistently. She is loving reading them but will be responding when she is able!
The power of prayer is so evident in Emily’s recovery and we are so thankful. Please continue to pray for Emily’s sweet “neighbors” who are going through transplants as well on this hall.
